You say that as if it were a bad thing. Of course mass arrests are needed. Probably executions, too. However, our government is too kind and compassionate. If they'd been taken over by a commie country such as Red China or the former Soviet Union, lots of people would be dying. And if you were posting anti-government messages from one of these countries...well, good luck to you if you were ever caught.

Looting? So what. To the victor go the spoils. However, the only thing over there worth looting is the oil. And we're not going to steal that. We're going to pay for it. If we get a good price...Well, we earned it. If some of our oil companies get fat contracts for exploration, so be it.

The first thing we need to do is find a SECULAR, hard-line, conservative puppet who will act as a handmaiden to his masters in Washington. He needs to keep these people under control and get the economy rolling again. If not, we might have another Iran on our hands. You'll see Iraq run by a crazy group of Muslim clerics. That would be a disaster.

South Korea is a perfect example. We had many puppet dictators who helped us in that country. Park Chung-He was my favorite. He ruled South Korea with an iron fist for seventeen years. He really got that economy rolling. Look at some of the items in your house. Your toaster. Your television. Anything. You're bound to find a few that say made in Korea.

Anyway, he was the perfect puppet. And for his troubles, we gave him a sweet market to sell his items. Then he broke with the US. He threatened to get the troops off the peninsula and make nuclear weapons to handle the threat to the north. He was assassinated after he started giving us trouble. Shot dead in 1978. But he was still a great man.

Anyway, South Korea advanced and eventually became a democracy. It is now an "Asian tiger" with a sound economy and a healthy middle-class. That's the path Iraq has to take. Democracy right away would spell disaster. We need a guy like Park Chung-He and a military force to keep the muslim extremist peasants in line. A few public executions wouldn't hurt the cause. Of course, this would be up to the new "president", he he he.
