Every day I read the same article.
Some headline similar to, "Still no WMD's Found in Iraq!"
Same article, every single fucking day, printed again and again. Every day the same editorial banter about how we were being lied to, about how unfair the corporate media networks were in the war coverage, about how this war was all one big empty media show. An endless supply of news reaffirming us that there's no news. Reaffirmation that this war was just a tainted product sold to the millions of dumbfuck American people that bought into the idea that we were actually being threatened. Same bullshit every day.
The war was, and continues to be, as much of a shallow media event for the leftist opposition as it was for it's rightwing supporters.
I'm more than ready to see the American left get off their fat asses, turn off their TVs, quit their crying about what just happened, quit feeling so helpless just because they're too afraid to do something beyond peaceful organized protest, quit expecting things to get better on their own, and do something about this.
I'm sick of hearing about the problem from people with no solution in mind.
I don't give a fuck either way if they find WMD's in Iraq or not. The point of the war was to enforce international law. Absolutely no evidence was actually provided to the UN, or anybody else for that matter, despite so many broken promises by the administration that we'd actually see some ligimate reason for going to war. In the process, the war itself was a violation of international law.

That's not to say that I give a fuck about international law, either.
All I care about right now is the fact that every bullet in every one of the thousands of dead corpses laying out in Iraq has my name written on it.
The left has been tagging along with the moronic justifications for this war that it's given it enough respect for a mass number of people to actually think there WAS a logic behind Bush's actions.
I'm waiting for the leftists to quit treating this thing like the "show" they claim it was, and get off their asses and do something about it.
