These silly mindless cappies will be the first ones to claim China as their enemy but would never actually confront them. Why? In a conventional war China would ***** slap you back to the McCarthy era where you belong.

Awfully belligerent today, aren't we comrade? That hangover must be getting the best of you.
Now about China, just because they happen to possess one of the largest armies in the world doesn't necessarily mean they would win a ground war with the U.S. Big armies really can't do much if they're undersupplied and underequiped. How do you think the chinese are going to feed an army of 250 million if they can barely even feed their own people? And in the case of technology, the U.S. military is obviously far superior.
NOTE: The total military manpower of China, according to the CIA world fact book, is actually 370,087,489.

Are there any UN laws governing warefare that you must fight your enemy where they are thier strongest? If you haven't noticed recent developments on CNN the last 10 years, total numbers in your standing army is no guarantee for winning a battle.
And what are you talking about?
Sea? Your kidding. China has no aircraft carriers.
Subsurface sea? They are using old Soviet boats that are sitting ducks.
Tanks? The same ones that the Iraq use? They were all sitting ducks from aircraft and US tanks.
Land based aircraft? Good modern Soviet types. The Russians sell as the same equipment to evaluate strengths and weakness for future conflicts around the world.

Economically I think China is the second fastest growing nation in the world, while Americas somewhere in the red.
Anyway, it would take serious, I mean serious trouble to go down for something as collossal as those two duking it out. I think the end of the world could be the spoils for the victor.

China has only man power. As stated earlier, China is ineffeciant and they have little technology compared with the US. But they have more people in their army than the US population in total.
The US probbaly wants to get at more of the Chinese markets for goods!

Could you tell me one thing, kelvin. If the US army is so invincible, why did you make Saddam destroy his missiles before you dared to mess up with him? Your "Patriot" systems are a joke, really. What would happen if one of the missiles that landed on Kuwait were charged with a nuclear or chemical trigger? Oh, sorry, I forgot, you knew for sure Saddam didn't have them.

Again, why does the US military have to play fair in combat? Does warefare require anyone not exploit every advantage you have ane every weakness in an enemy.
Patriot? You have access to classified information that we do not have regarding effectiveness? Please provide link with info so I can make a similiar judgement.
Nuclear weapons:
"Iraq also faced initial difficulties in machining precision components and sought assistance from suppliers in Germany, Yugoslavia, and Switzerland. By 1990, Iraq had produced its first carbon fiber magnetic centrifuge. "
http://www.nti.org/e_research/e1_iraq_N_overview.html
The expertise to build weapons grade nuclear material never left Iraq or has it been destroyed by the UN. A plutonium separator can fit in my kitchen. Every kitchen in Iraq has yet to be inspected. Do you trust Saddam? Do you trust that he does not want to obtain a nuclear bomb? After 9/11 do you trust him not give one away to a "friend"? Do you hate the US so much that you would rather trust a dictator? Why do you trust Saddam?

I'll say CHina is our competition for now. The are upcomming however they haver a very critical weakness, %20 of their exports are purchased by the US. A war between us is very likely and will not likely happen anytime soon. IN the case of a Korean war China would simply wait until the North Koreans start to gasp for air then occupy as much of the North as possible.

Well RAM. That's a bit simplistic don't you think. I understand dubya did look silly with all the "evil doer" nonsense he spouted about the Taliban but to assume he subscribes to some sort of 2000 year old dogma is simply absurd RAM. Dubya has no intentions of invading North Korea. Why would he? We all know at the time he was using the old WMD excuse to invade Iraq. It was simple publicity in NK. Get the public thinking about Nukes and the "grave dangers" to be faced by the American public from there enemies of freedom and perhaps to possible create some sort of media tie with DPRK and Iraq. Guilt by association. Why would China as a capitalist country want to have any ties with the DPRK? They would much prefer to bed up with Uncle Sham. The love the beard.
