Why the fuck does Amercan think it can do whatever it wants. Its so fucking stupid, did they not realise that if it went over the UN it would have some pretty fucking big reprocusions; like there is no more law in the international areana! for example (and Im not saying the N.Koreans would have not done what they did if the yanks didnt attack Iraq) you cannot say to North Korea, your not alowed to have nuclear weapons, thats like saying we have sanctionened a sydistical man with a gun to walk around in your neibourhood and shoot whoever he wants and your not alouwed to call the police and carry weapons yourself. Yes perhaps the function of the UN was never good for America as it had a little too many lofty ideals that dont support America in all their capacities (and we all know that America can never commit anything to something that isnt directly self serving or glorifying to it). The UN was realy working toward a world of peace and morals, I mean if everyone signed into that one treaty thing(I cant remember what its called) then people like George Bush wouldnt be able to do what ever the hell he wanted just because he is Pres of the most powerful nation. International anarchy (which is what America has created due to its difilement of the UN) is just what produces situations like N.Korea, at least before Iraq had some legitimacy to do whatever it wanted with them, but when one kid starts playing dirty you cant blame the others for jumping in the sand pit. Thank you America, oh and I hope you sustain the most causalties when you bring about WWIII.

The only recourse to stop us moving toward oblivion is for basicly every country in the world saying join all the UN treaties that insure you are held accountable for being unscrupilous(or a new orgination like the UN) or we will all saction you.

International Criminal Court (ICC) Treaty, to be set up in The Hague to try political leaders and military personnel charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity. Signed in Rome in July 1998, the Treaty was approved by 120 countries, with 7 opposed (including the US). In October 2001 Great Britain became the 42nd nation to sign. In December 2001 the US Senate again added an amendment to a military appropriations bill that would keep US military personnel from obeying the jurisdiction of the proposed ICC.

Now, Those are just the treaties. Let's now review all of the international laws/obligations The Chimp has violated.

1972 Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention ratified by 144 nations including the United States. In July 2001 the US walked out of a London conference to discuss a 1994 protocol designed to strengthen the Convention by providing for on-site inspections. At Geneva in November 2001, US Undersecretary of State John Bolton stated that "the protocol is dead," at the same time accusing Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Libya, Sudan, and Syria of violating the Convention but offering no specific allegations or supporting evidence.

UN Agreement to Curb the International Flow of Illicit Small Arms, July 2001: the US was the only nation to oppose it.

April 2001, the US was not re-elected to the UN Human Rights Commission, after years of withholding dues to the UN (including current dues of $244 million)-and after having forced the UN to lower its share of the UN budget from 25 to 22 percent. (In the Human Rights Commission, the US stood virtually alone in opposing resolutions supporting lower-cost access to HIV/AIDS drugs, acknowledging a basic human right to adequate food, and calling for a moratorium on the death penalty

Land Mine Treaty, banning land mines; signed in Ottawa in December 1997 by 122 nations. The United States refused to sign, along with Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Vietnam, Egypt, and Turkey. President Clinton rejected the Treaty, claiming that mines were needed to protect South Korea against North Korea's "overwhelming military advantage." He stated that the US would "eventually" comply, in 2006; this was disavowed by President Bush in August 2001.

Enforcing an illegal boycott of Cuba, now being made tighter. In the UN in October 2001, the General Assembly passed a resolution, for the tenth consecutive year, calling for an end to the US embargo, by a vote of 167 to 3 (the US, Israel, and the Marshall Islands in opposition).

No the treaty was not the weapons proliferation one, I am beginning to think that DC is a real retard. It was the International Criminal Court (ICC) Treaty that I was thinking of.

Could someone have said something a little more inspiring like its not all that bad???? I am feeling very low. At least I could of felt a little bit of false solace in some miss guided fool like big bill saying America is the person he would have running things if he had to choose. We cant go on like this!!!
