Will there be re-education camps to deal with the sickest of the fundamentalist freaks?

Placing a person that believes the things a fundamentalist does in camp would just serve to inflate their egos and gain them sympathy, plus I'm not real big on the idea of putting people in camps for religious belief, no matter how absurd they may be. I'd just as soon ignore them unless they become violent.

At what point do we consider a group worthy of "re-education"? By setting up such a tool to exist, we set it up for abuse, as every society has deviants, and to some extent, a deviant is decided just by their relatively weaker tendency to follow the rules than other groups, so there is no abolishing deviation.
As well, as Plagueround points out, fundamentalists would really not be impacted by camps. It would get them sympathy, and frankly, they believe in suffering for their beliefs.

They would most likly be weeded out in the revolution. Extreme nationalists, racists, facists, rich capitalist, extreme religious fanatics would be counterproductive in a communist society. This is a big issue and I feel that simplly killing them would be the worse course of action possible. Some sort of rededucation may work, maybe limitations. Religioun needs to end eventully but It is going to be a long process. There will always be crazies though and the really passionate rightwingers would fight against us in a revolution, lowering their numbers.

I dont know about re-education camps, but if a Communist Revolution happens, I think that the government shouldnt get into what people believe. Though, some tendons of organized religion needs to be cut.

We would "deal" with them the same way we deal with any other opponents: leave them alone if they are peaceful, fight them if they take up arms against us.

Jesus, "re-education camps", "weeding them out", welcome to 1984. If people express their views peacefully, they should never be prevented from doing so.

In all fairness when I said wedding out I was talking about fighting in a revolution, not genocide. Religion will eventully fade away but there is no need to outright attack it. that would lead to mass protests and more violence, some people hold their cultures very dear to them and that should be respected. Deterring religion is one thing but outlawing is an another.

They'll probably have killed themselves off by revolutions end fighting us.
That being said, we would just keep an eye on them, then take them out if they took up arms. If they don't, just leave them and everyone else alone.

Have I time-warped to the year Nineteen Eighty-Four or what?
In a communist society there isn't going to be a state that goes around punishing people based on their opinions. It's no bloody business of anyone, especially not one of bureaucrats.

I'm not really a "herd x group into camps" kinda guy, crazy I know. Rapture type idiots pretty much deal with themselves by being alienatingly batshit and spending most of their time lurking about with other freaks shitting themselves with anticipation whenever they hear trumpets.
Although I suspect that any of them that are about after the revolution will be even more chiroptera guano about their lives. Consider how hysterically the current lot screech about christians being oppressed in countries dominated by christian dogma, now imagine how they would behave in a society where we don't put up with their bullshit. Their (already) enormous persecution complexes will go completely into overdrive.

Jazzratt pretty much nailed it. In addition, I consider Rapture Retards more of a source of comedy than concern.

Hardly a real threat to any society are they. Let them beleive what they will, as long as they do not attempt to inflict their beleifs on others.
Or line them up against a wall and shoot them.

The thing is Communists shouldn't persecute ANYONE for believeing differently than they do. That would make Communism just the same as any other philosophy out there.
Why bother with having a Revolution if you are just going to substitute on kind of persection for another? That would make Communism just another--meet the new boss same as the old boss.

Hey, if they don't go hurt anyone then just don't even think about them. 3/4 of them will probably die off by trying to fight us anyway.
Just tell them this: "Optimus Prime is better than Jesus. Why? I never heard of Jesus turning into a super kickass mech then back into a truck."
