Rich nations take back £9 in debt for repayments for every £1 given in aid. In 1997 Comic Relief raied £26 million. Africa pays back as much in debt repayments every single day. The one-day fall on the London Stock Exchange on 27 April 1998 would pay the debt service of all developing countries for two months!

(From Ethics and Religion Chapter 8 Huamn Rights)

We are then part of the captalist system weather we like it or not and will continue to be part of it. The money to buy internet access or to visit an internet cafe. You can of course spend your money on charity or debt relief but it will make a diffrence but hardly any real major diffrence. If we give all or money to charity then we could die and would any of you want to die to give everything that you have to fight captalism and to help relive debt?

The system is designed so we can't change it unles we die or have a very low standard of living!

How far does the expanding circle of responserbility go before we suffer for helping?

I expected much more from you DC....Could it possibly be that you have no answer? Perhaps then you should have simply ignored the post entirely in place of embarrassing yourself. At least that would have been the logical thing to do but I suppose that if you understood logic, then you would no longer be a capitalist.
