Hi everyone.

I'm currently a university student studying to be a civil engineer (specializing in transportation, so that means if you have any stupid questions about roads, I'm probably your guy), and a seasonal highway worker. I live in Canada.

I am a member of the IWW, and my politics are more or less along the lines of anarcho-syndicalist, although all my Trotskyist friends have given me the oxymoronic moniker "anarcho-stalinist" because after a couple beers I am prone to making ice axe jokes. And I subscribe to a Communist paper.

Well, in my sleepy little corner of the world we had a bit of growth over the past couple years and not much up in the air at the moment. But I hear some other branches are booming, particularly in the British Isles.

Nice to see another fellow Canadian here. Don't be bring up your Ice-axe jokes around me as I tend to have some Trotskyist tendancies. lol

Anyway, which province are you in? I'm in B.C and you make me feel young. I'm only in my last year of highschool. Damn all you university people who will be finished school before me! haha!
