A call for help in building www.freepublictransports.com - a global forum for the free transports movement!
Hello everybody, were contacting you with the hope that you'll be interested in joining us in a project to create a global forum for discussions, news and practical tips about the fight to make the public transports free. Right now we're constructing the web page www.freepublictransports.com, and we need your help!
On the 26th of November freepublictransports.com will go public, but until then it would be great if you used the form on that web page to send us information about every group you know about (you don't have to belong to one), information about the public transport system in as many cities as possible as well as anything else you can come up with that relate to the public transport.
We will gather all information we get and publish it on the site, and when it goes online it'll be in a wiki-format so that everyone will be able to update, add and change the information.
Our hope is that by gathering information about local groups fighting for free transports we will be able to learn from each other and co-operate in our struggle.
We kindly ask you to write in English so that as many as possible will be able to read it.
If you have any questions, please send them to [email protected] or [email protected], and if you know anyone who would be interested in this project, please forward this mail to them or give them the web page address www.freepublictransports.com.
With solidarity!
// Planka.nu Stockholm, a part of freepublictransports.com
P.S. If anyone is attending the climate meetings in Poznan, let us now so we can meet up there.
