Interesting article about African socialism (http://www.politico.com/static/PPM41_eastafrica.html). If you wonder, it is not written by Barack Obama the US president, but by his father together with some other African intellectuals from the 1960;s.

Maybe I misread, but he seems to contrast Kenya's "socialism" with what he called "scientific" socialism.

Well it does not really belong in Newswire since it is rather old. Perhaps, history. But, I was under the impression that this space was reserved for articles written by our members and not a space to post other peoples' articles.

Criticizing politicians for what their ancestors wrote is bad for everyone. McCain's parents were probably white supremacists.

This was brought up numerous times during the campaign. But ended up contradicting other memes such as Obama was a Muslim which didn't mesh with his father being a godless commie.



Criticizing politicians for what their ancestors wrote is bad for everyone. McCain's parents were probably white supremacists.
