The Flaw of Communism - Why are we all so intellectual?

Why are all commies so bloody smart? Why does communism seem to attract a lot of middleclass kids, like me, with to much time on their hands? Why are all my attempts to educate the workers to how miserable their lives are failures? Really, I try and I try to explain how much they have to gain under Communism, but they are so brain washed that they do not listen to me! It is so frustrating!!

I know how you feel.

Although I am from the working class, I have time because I am at university and I am married so I get an allowance (from the state) so I only have to work one shift a week, although I can convince a few of the workers at work, there is one liberal who thinks it's crap but loves my commie clothing and commie things.

Governments have done a lot more than you probably realise that demoralises workers eg strike breaking and so on, they lose faith in the institutions that were once there for workers but are now hand in hand with the capitalist class (eg unions with the bourgeoisie).

Plus it is unlikely they will listen to a teenager, when they think they know better...

That's really true. There are some 15 year olds on here that know more of politics than most high school teachers but in real life they won' t be taken seriously because of their age.

I'm a 20 year old high school drop out, if I tell people that before begining a real conversation they immediately have this idea that they are smarter than me. It sucks but that's whats cool about the internet, no one can judge you by your looks, they have to listen to what you say.

Ya, the working class/middle class at the time when Marx was alive never did understand Das Capital did they? Eventhough the middle class today may be considered more educated than 1880 intellectuals, they still don't want communism do they?

How do you measure intelligence? People will listen to you if based on social status, intelligence, charisma, good looks, etc.

There is a pecking order in life. No getting around it. Henry Kissinger? Not a very good looking man is he? (Check out his wife sometime) He scores very in overall scores for above catagories.

Intelligence, I can understand. But seriously; I have no clue how 'genetics' and 'tribal loyalty' can have anything to do with a person's socio-economic beliefs. And 'genetics'? Not quite sure where you're going here. I know many people from all sorts of diffirent genetic backgrounds that are communists. There is a communist party in nearly every country. Just look at me. I have Touretts Syndrome, Neurosis, Hypocondria, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; and I'm a communist.

While on that topic, Pete, it reminds me of how stupid racists happen to be. An example: This is Dave. Dave is a racist. Dave hates Africans. Dave thinks Africans are responsible for all of the crime and violence in the world. Dave comes to a stupid conclusion. Dave concludes that all Africans must be prone to violence.

If that were true, which it most certainly is not; then Dave, inadvertantly, would be giving any African who commits a crime an excuse. After all; if we were to apply your concepts of racialism, Mark, I could kill someone, and get off claiming that it was in my nature. People would start using 'race' as an excuse in court. Well, I think I should graduate college even though I got horrible scores on my tests. After all, I can't help it! Right?

Middle Class, is a myth, or misconception. Their are two classes those with and those without, upper and working. A Working Class individual is anyone who has to sell themselves as labour in order to live.

Well, smart people think for the rest and try to get the best they can. Most socialists and communists are from middle class because we have a defined education and culture, that lets us think what is wrong and what is right. We have the power to cuestionate things. Low class or stupid people have their brains so washed that they think they are doing good things instead of bad ones, they think spending money in a beautiful car is ok, but it´s NOT, you could do a lot of things in exchange of that! This is the same people that think they must have money so they can be respected!
Don´t get frustrated, there is hope, things can be changed!
YES, we can change the point of view of the worker class, make them see that the actual system sucks!
