There's more to pecking than that part involving the head. The body has to tilt and the neck has to extend. A grotesque image, maybe, but certainly not beyond the imaginable. Maybe if you contact Life magazine, someone will give you a more thorough answer; they did an expose on Mike around when he was a headless celebrity.

Wendy is not a real name. In fact, the name 'Wendy' only started appearing after the book Peter Pan was released. It is not a joke. Ask yourself this. How many people do you know named Mike? Ok. How about Josh? Alright, now how about Wendy? That's what I thought. It, because it only started being used recently, is a very uncommon name.
