The Tamaki Makaurau Situationist Workers Union, associated radical groups and independent workers have voted unanimously in favour of an art strike in our flat in Parnell this evening. This action is in protest of the sham election which will deliver Aotearoa into the hands of monetarist flunkies Rodney Hide, Roger Douglas and John Key.

We firmly reject the lesser evilism on offer from the so called Social Democratic parties, and will protest vote by backing the ALCP. Or at least we would, but will be getting high instead!

The strike has already progressed rapidly, with radicalised painter Dan Ashcroft wilfulling destroying 3 of his own collages in spontaneous protest, and others quickly taking up the initiative and following suit post haste.

We as a unified front have pre-empted the conservative art establishments (who are pigs) calls for compromise, on the eve of the election. In homage to Wystan Curnow we are declaring that there is no room for pigs at the troughs the Art Hotel. Effigies of Tony Veitch were spontaneously assaulted on the slopes of Maungakiekie in preparations for a protracted struggle. Demonstrating the effect of the withdrawal of our collective labours sends a shot across the bows of not just those of the third way, but also those of the third position.

This is a strike against all beady eyed whiskey tango colonial fucks who wish to deliver victory to the Chicago School stooges of the self styled centre right (currently, 48% of the population). These pigs will get none of their cop art from the workers until the situation is rectified.

And to the bought off liberal fucks that see some class compromise solution in the leviathan of corporatism, we unconditionally condemn these spectacle saturated shopping malls of the meat industry!

Death to Barry Crump!

Death to the Masonic Pentatonic!

Long live the spontaneous advancement of the class struggle by all conscious art collectives and workers!
