What are some good books about Lenin? You know, ones that would help disprove lies told about him? (I'm not saying he didn't make mistakes.) I was going to look in the RevLeft reading list, but it is so long. It's over 200 pages or so (I think that is the number I saw).

What book(s) on Lenin do you recommend? What about pamphlets or articles? I'll check those out too. Thanks.

Tony Cliff's 3-volume Lenin is the best I've read. I believe the first two volumes are online. If you want to you could order them from Haymarket (US) or Bookmarks (UK).

I've got Lenin's Life, 2 volume by Louis Fischer. Not bad.
