since they seem to pop in fairly often can somebody explain to me who they are and what they stand for,

i have never came across them, until i was accused of being one of them and accused of being a zionist supporter of imperialism

Its a pretty diverse ideology that, as I understand it, has pretty much lost most of its importance in the German left. I met a really cute one in Berlin.

Deleted my original explanation because it doesn't really do the ideas justice (not that they deserve it). I'm lazy:

It pretty much comes down to this (in my opinion):

Anti-Semitism stems from the jews not having their own nation, so nationalists claim they are filthy parasites of a healthy nation. So, now that "the jewish people" have their own nation (Israel) this claim is falsificated and another obstacle in class struggle (anti-semitism) is countered. Therefore, they support Israel.

In my opinion it's rubbish;
1. There are a LOT of jews not supporting Israel.
2. There are a lot of ''nationless populations'' like the roma or synti. These are still attacked (as can be seen in Italy today).
3. By supporting a country to each and every athnic background (of some sort), they still fall into the trap of nationalism instead of international workers struggle.
4. They don't counter the problem of seeïng all the jews as one, instead they furthen this claim and thus hindering internationalist struggle.

Furthermore, they are not big in Germany as far as I know, but very very loud in their beliefs, therefore sometims it looks like they are really influential.

Just my 2 cents.

I got one of their papers from a friend, with an article saying vegetarianism is anti-semitic.
I haven't actually met any of them, but apparently there's some real wacko's there.
On the other hand, Malte wrote some stuff about them and apparently they're not all crazy and some bring up good points.

A thread (http://www.revleft.com/vb/anti-duitse-anti-t86450/index2.html) on Anti-Deutsche (Dutch and English mixed up).

Yeah, there's the anti-imp anti-deutsche who don't support Israel, US, etc but are still highly critical of anti-semitism within the left and, as I understand, find the focus on Israel problematic. They also challenge the racism of some within the anti-deutsche scene. These were the kind I primarily encountered in Berlin, and actually had a very long argument with one of them on the topic.
