there fallen album was there best album mainly because it contained there best songs and because of ben moody's input. gone downhill since 2003.

I agree that Fallen is definitely their best album. They also have several unreleashed songs that are good. Too bad Ben Moody left though. :(

Tastes differ, there's no reason to attack her for liking a band that you don't.

Anyway, I have heard some songs by Evanescence, but I don't really like it that much. It seems too "poppy" to me and I'm more into classic rock.

They are not even near enough to be my all time favorite songs, but those particular 2 songs i really like them!
But generally i am a hip-hop and rap "lover".

I seen them at the Download Festival last year and although I like heavier music I thought they were pretty good. I think Amy Lee is hard to work with so everybody leaves in the end. She has some voice.

I don't know much about modern music, but when it came out I really enjoyed the sound; I'm a big fan of mixing classical and/or melodic elements into harder styles.

However, besides being overplayed and whiny, it's ultimately anti-feminist as well; every song I remember primarily serves to romanticize a damaging model of relationships.

For me it's not even the lyrics. I never really cared much about the lyrics in songs. the melody is what really drives me in.
