PBS pokes commies in the eye!

I found it one sided and sure to piss off commies. If commies can sit down and get pass the one sided presentation there is very good information.

This last week was about Margret Thatcher and the coal mining union.

Yes, I watched most of it about a year ago (I think...I can't remember when it was).

It's certainly a wonderful piece of propaganda...even my moderate liberal dad was gagging. One of my favorite parts is when they spend about 30 minutes talking about the groundbreaking theories of the Austrian school (personified by one economist if I remember correctly) and the Nobel Prizes won by them...failing, of course, to mention that the guy practically gave himself the prize and the theories, when put into practice, failed miserably. I asked an economics professor about this and he almost blew a fuse...(really, I never expected him to actually get angry!) he was cursing and everything! Pretty much the hole thing is spent talking about the emergence of the new-school Liberalization in the last few decades without ever mentioning the massive human failures caused by it.

...but hey, what can you expect from the Petroleum Broadcasting System? Hell, Enron funded an episode, now didn't they?

Well here is the problem with PBS, they don't give anything of a budget to work with so they have to become all boozed up from grants from privite institutions to put any thing of intrest on the air.

If they wanted a truly nuetral news source, guaranteed funding based off a percantage of population or something. Like 1 dollar per citizen or something like that, maybe based off of the GNP not that, that isn't a completetly abstract figure. But you get me point, protected from outside intrests.

But if you did that, how would you control the mass propaganda machine of media outlets in America? Exactly...

Textbook taxation without representation. Ofcourse it is not if you get the a democratic vote in favor of the tax.
