This is possible, the isreali government would have a huge source of income if the messiah came back.(even though I am an atheist I think that this is a logical argument) They would have tourists out the ying-yang is that happened. Whew....glad to hear you're not religious but man, I went to a Catholic High School and went through all the required religious study (have read the bible), and I never recall reading that paragraph.

You're post looked frighteningly like what I would expect from a Mid-Western U$ bible belter. It scared me. ;)

Thank goodness through all the theological brainwashing I went through I still was able to stay a devout atheist!

I seriously doubt that this is the specific issue with Israel hanging on to Jerusalem for, but who knows? My thought is that it's just the proverbial "line in the sand". I do however understand what it means to both sides theologically.
