So every once in a while my parents make me go to their church, I just respect their request and go since they are my parents. I hate going not just because I don't believe in their god but i dont believe in religion as a whole, along with the fact that with the exception of two other people everyone there goes for themselves. Now i am writing this Saturday night and my parents said i was going with them tomorrow. My sister, a year older and a christian, asked if we could pick up donuts to share with the youth group i will have to attend. I said that we should just get them and bring them home, no shareing with the church. She then went on to reply that just because i dont agree with the people there doesnt mean i have to cause controversy. Now, finally arriving at the point, do you think that me getting in fights with these people over their religion is wrong and in a way hypocritical to me saying that people can worship there own god without forcing it upon people is perfectly fine by me. I just want to hear your opinion, it wont change mine, ill still fight with them anyway, especially the fucking white supremist shit bag that hates me for absolutly no reason other than the fact that i said PETA is stupid.

A white supremacist PETA supporter? Interesting.
I think, given your situation, there's reasons to be tense, but it's not too big of a deal.

Well, since you're going to be there anyway, I'd say that giving them shit is a good way to spend your time :D. As you no doubt already know, you're unlikely to change their minds, though...at least you'll have some fun!

No
Why would it be hypocritical of you?

I disagree, i think that you should always generally speak your mind and confront opinions and ideas with which you do not agree (if you have arguments against them, that is)
Infringment of ones rights through offending their beliefs.
I cannot see why and how that is a right of someone. If you are offended by something, that is a personal thing of you,and i don't see why i should care about it.
Through discussion and conversation with arguments and logical thinking i/you may dismiss my/your opinion on the matter on which we disagree, one's personal feelings about something should not affect judgement and controversy IMO.

It would be hypocritical in the way that, generalization coming up, we are about people not being prejudiced and putting down others opinions and saying that some ones god is not real is a pretty big insult to their beliefs.

Well i usually do speak my mind but I can sometimes take it a little to far and then i feel like im just being an asshole.
And it is their right to religion.
