I'm planning on buying Our Enemies in Blue (http://southendpress.org/2007/items/87712). Has anybody read it? If so, would you recommend it?

From my understanding, his arguments concerning an alternative to the police are rather underdeveloped.

I bought it a few months ago and I'm about 2/3 of the way through the book. Williams masterfully exposed the racist (and elaborated on the obvious classist) origins and nature of the institution. I would recommend it.
