Your IQ score is 124

This number is the result of a formula based on how many questions you answered correctly on Emode's Ultimate IQ test.

The even better news is that at Emode, we've taken your IQ test one step further. During the test, you answered four different types of questions — mathematical, visual-spatial, linguistic and logical. We were able to analyze how you did on each set of those questions, which allows us to shed light on the way your brain uniquely functions.

At the same time, we compared your answers with others who have taken the test, and according to the sorts of questions you got correct, we can tell your Intellectual Type is an Inventive Inquisitor.

The first thing we can tell you about that is you're equally good at mathematical and verbal skills and have a thirst for learning through experience. But that's just scratching the surface.

I think it's bullshit, though.

hehe.....here's the results from their inkblot test.

Your unconscious mind is driven most by Peace

You are driven by a higher purpose than most people. You have a deeply-rooted desire to facilitate peacefulness in the world. Whether through subtle interactions with love ones, or through getting involved in social causes, it is important to you to influence the world.

You are driven by a desire to encourage others to think about the positive side of things instead of focusing on the negative. The reason your unconscious is consumed by this might stem from an innate fear of war and turmoil. Thus, to avoid that uncomfortable place for you, your unconscious seeks out the peace in your environment.

Usually, the thing that underlies this unconscious drive is a deep respect for humankind. You care about the future of the world, even beyond your own involvement in it. As a result, your personal integrity acts as a surrogate for your deeper drive toward peace and guides you in daily life towards decisions that are respectful toward yourself and others.

Though your unconscious mind is driven most strongly by Peace, there is much more to who you are at your core.

Like I said, bullshit.

I got 138, and I'm currently rather drunk. Hic!

Online IQ tests are fun, but they are notoriously inaccurate. I found one once that was based on the European style of test, no verbal questions but only patterns, and that one was the most accurate (yeah, I've been tested).

I got 126. Oh yay...

I am vehemently against any so-called measurement of intelligence that does not include a face to face discussion or arguement.

Overall, this was complete crap...

Lol that damn test doesnt even take into account how much time you took. Lol i could spend an hour doing it and get every question right and have an iq of 200 or sumthing. Speaking of which if you get every question right qot iq do u get, maybe u have to take an special higher iq test or sumting.

IQ Tests are unreliable. Don't believe a word of what you read.

They are culturally biased.

They have to be timed to be accurate, you could use a dictionary or whatever on that one, it doesn't work.

Nothing can make then "fair". Whatever sort of test you do, it is always unreliable and rubbish.

IQ tests are a capitalist plot to take over are minds
it starts with our conscience then in a blink of an eye were slave labourers working to build a giant nuclear powered rocket to send Bush and Blair and the rest of all governments with the exeption of China and Cuba or any other socialist countries to a huge space bace on the moon from which they will send a huge hydrogen bomb and blow us up to creat a new race of super humans on the moon from which they will propel themselves with the use of a huge rocket into another solar system and from there search to destroy any other planets with living beings on them

I was thinking that they are largely favourable to middle class people. Firstly because they are standardised and constructed by middle class people. There have been studies into the reliability, or lack of reliability, of IQ testing.

This one dude, I think his name was Klineberg, did a test on children in a native american community. They were asked to do something like put blocks in the right places in the quickest time. But since their culture places no emphasis at all on speed, they all did it really slow, yet correctly.

Another is by a guy called Porteus. He did a study on Aborigines but couldnt get them to conduct the tests on their own because their lives are based on working in numbers and as teams. They discussed the tests with the tribal elders, as this is their culture.

I heard another study that took place in one inner city new york area, and then one welathy area in Washington or something. Cant remember who did it. Basically, two tests were set up, one for the black inner city people, one for the wealthy middle classes. They sent the tests to each and they both scored high, naturally. Then they switched them sending the inner city test to the wealthy area and vice versa. The scores were awful. But the test which was for the middle class area was an example of a text that is actually used on people all over the states. That one was explained really porly because I cant remember it all, but you get the drift. The people in the inner city black area knew a lot of stuff ion their paper, such as slang terms for different things, different gangs and "hoods", sports questions. This shows intelligence. But the test they would get would be the one suited to the middle class. Again, explained poorly, I know.

So trying to compare IQ of someone from the Bronx, for example, and then someone from a middle class area is impossible. But that's what is done.

The BBC IQ test gave results that people with lower salaries had higher IQs, unemployed people had the highest score and the IQ level went down as the salaries went up, with the highest group of earners having less than 100. And it was the same test.

Don't know if it proves much though. When hiring some firms use IQ testing to select people from shortlists, quite a stupid thing to do seeing how unreliable they are.

That is an interesting stat.

But no, the studies were pointing out the way cultures and environment make it unfair, not income.

Strongly agreed about the cultural relatavism.

Bush got 99 on an IQ test. Even though they are culturaly relative, they are culturally relative in faviour of his SEC.

they are not only culturally biased, but biased in favour of a class system.

not only that, they have no actual bearing, exactly liike school, on what truly defines a person's intelligence. such a definition cannot be defined accurately enough to produce a test to measure it. as it is, te best a IQ test can measure is the basic abilities of a person to be succesful within a capitalist regime assuming that they are of the most predominate wage labourer base. which is white, middle prolitariate and male.

How "convenient" that we can sum up a person's mental aptitude with a single number.

IQ tests are rubbish.

I would not be upset either way. I have never gotten the same result from an IQ test ever. Complete rubbish...

If I got 200, I would probably use it to wipe my arse.

Just because IQ tests have no berring on real intellegence, it does not meen it is not fun to do.

There is a difference between hating IQ tests and taking one for the fun of it and being a commie and buying all the consumer goods under the sun. That is not a fair analogy. I don't hurt anyone by taking an IQ test even if I think it is meeningless. I do hurt people by buying all the consumer goods under the sun.

My personal experiences have generally not given me a whole lot of faith in the clairvoyant powers of the IQ test. In my junior year of high school, one of my friends scored as 179; another scored as 101. (I tested 153.)

Guess what? The "genius" is dead of a heroin overdose and the "Joe Shmoe" is making $300,000 a year as some mucky-muck at a corporate conglomerate somewhere in Illinois.

Who won that round?
