Apparantly if he Troops find no weapons of Mass destruction then the US and UK had no legal groundings to invade Iraq, this there for means that they can be brought to trial as war criminals...

This would be highly amuzing.

I have no source only what i have heard. Could any one conferm or deny this?

ah, if only they WERE brought to trial, AK47! but i think they'd divert attention from the weapons and decide to excuse the war on the basis of saddam being an oppressive dictator. and then of course, americans will be blind to the treachery behind that excuse (which is a VALID reason to go war but not this particular war in question) while the rest of the world goes bananas.

and as recompensation for the iraqis who have suffered, distribute the proceeds from oil sales among THEM, since the US cares so much about them. and you can't call THAT a capitalist venture because it actually benefits the common people.

these criminals will never be brought to trial only if world war 2 is relooked upon in which case the bad guys and the good guys would have to change position and look at the nazies in a better light (never) in which case we could guestion the governments of today this would have to be a long time into the future

come on lets not get overun by ideology here comrades.

As i am reliable told, Article 51 of the UN charter states that a country can only go to war if 'war is imminent' or in self-defence. This war is unlike any other as it's a 'pre-emptive' strike and even if sanctions etc were sought against the offending countries both countries are permanent members of the security council with a power to veto any such resolution.

I think it's also a little hypocritical to accuse them as war criminals or some such when Lenin himself commited even worse crimes including ordering the murder of the Tsar and his family and then chucked their bodies down a mineshaft with some dynamite. Regardless of the propaganda value of their death that is appalling and much more worth condemning.

Of course, the world will see through this lie. I hope, and won't finding them now be rather late to find something liemthat, if they are found, the government planted them there.

In response to the thought that WMDs will be planted in Iraq so the Americans look like their war was justified, i have to disagree. The american government can get away with anything they want. Who the hell's gonna stop them? It's actually quite amusing that if the americans decided to turn a UN weapons inspection on themselves, they would find the condemning evidence they searched for in Iraq within hours...of course, it would likely take longer, cause i doubt the american government would be quite as cooperative as Iraq was....

they won't do either of those things, if they found wmd they would parade them to prove that military action was justified and your latter point is conspiracy theory stuff even when it comes to US Imperialism.

Their justification is simple : they 'liberated' a country.
