Harmless Games

Whenever i bring up Communist ideals in school, some kid always pipes in with this exact comment "Communism doesnt work because there is no incentive to work hard, someone can do nothing and get payed the same as everyone else" And of course being an avid reader of Marx and Engles I bring up the fact that contributing to the community and helping others is incentive enough, and if thats not enought then wouldnt free education, healthcare, and right to a job be enough? But for some reason this is not enough for the average Cappie. Why must they always feel the need to put others below them? When Columbus first landed on cuba he remarked on how nice the "indians" were, he commented that they would willingly give up anything they owned if others asked, and merely expected the same in return. So why is this not enough for you cappies?

Ask them how feudalism could have worked. There was absolutely zero material incentive for serfs to work.
It was the dominant economic structure for approximately a thousand years, if I'm not mistaken. I think the last major feudal power died with the Czarist regime in Russia, but pre-Maoist invasion Tibet was quite feudal. I think Bhutan is the only country with an actual feudal structure today.
Regardless, feudalism lasted far longer than capitalism has - although the date of the end of the latter has yet to be seen.
The funny thing about these morons you describe is that they don't understand that capitalism has only been around in its current form for about seven hundred years, and only dominant for the last three hundred or so. Their system is not infallible. Primitive communism lasted far longer, and invariably produced much more satisfied citizens.
