The US imperialist offensive against the working people of the Third World is reaching a new height, it seems.
First, they bomb a religious school in north-western Pakistan, killing children:

And now, they launch a deadly air-raid in Syria, killing innocent civilians:

Comrades, what do you make of this?
Here's what I think...
Since Washington appears to be losing the wars it started (illegally in both cases) in Iraq and Afghanistan, it is now striking out wildly like someone drowning in quick-sand.
What they don't seem to understand is:
if you're sinking in quick-sand, thrashing around violently will only make you sink faster.
This is the typical response of US imperialism to a war which it is losing.
In the Korean war, they tried to spill the war over into China (with the result that the Chinese People's Volunteers gave them the whipping of their life, resulting in the fastest retreat in US military history).
In the Vietnam war, the US spilled the war over into Laos and Cambodia, through air-strikes and covert ground operations, as well as proxy armies.
In each of these wars, Washington's imperial policy was foiled.
We too must play our part in defeating this new global offensive, on all fronts. As communists, we can always contribute to the fight against First-world imperialism.
In countries like Syria and Pakistan, we must start preparing the population of workers and peasants to resist this aggression. Assuming that the US gets further involved in either Pakistan or Syria, it will be the masses of workers and peasants, rallying around various ideologies, who will defeat them.
When faced by imperialist aggression, the three most likely rallying-points for workers and peasants in Third-world countries are:
1.) Secular nationalism
2.) Religion-based nationalism (including fundamentalist-nationalists)
3.) Revolutionary Marxism
As communists, we must try to rally them around the third, because the other two are ideologies which represent the class interests of the national-bourgeoisie.
We, as communists, should be prepared to work with the national-bourgeoisie, but we must maintain our independent political line. And what is our independent political line? It must ALWAYS be based on class struggle.
We must take part in mass mobilization against imperialist aggression in Third-world countries, and infuse these movements with Marxist ideas. We must bring to the working people the ONLY revolutionary theory which can fully liberate them.
This aggression can be defeated and it will be defeated. It's been done before, its being done before our very eyes at the moment and it will be done again and again.
Workers of the world, unite!
Long live the revolution!
