Here is a letter that BNP member Simon Goodricke sent to the Anarchist Federation. Now...Simon is abit of a character, he is a former detective, but unfortunately lost his job and sent down for perverting the course of justice and conning a pensioner out of £1000. He was arrested again this year: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article3828122.ece

"Smash the miners!" I wonder how many BNP supporters in Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and South Wales will react when they find out the true anti-working class feelings of the party.

he really wrote this? im a tad cynical that anybody (BNP or not) would write such abject bullshit when they are after working class support...

This is the actual letter Holden. And that's what we said...but to be honest, have you seen his track record? He's hardly got brains.
Make this into a few leaflets and distro around some mining areas?

i'm not sure i believe he wrote this... i mean.. :

He used to be a detective? Which means he would be well educated, and capeable of using the spell checker on his PC at the very least, and also if he is actually going to take over the BNP in Barnsley - a working class town, why would he have such a huge dig at the working class with the miners comment?

BNP Members make me sick!

The Miners should smash the Fascist scum known as the BNP.

No chance this is real. Just a provocateur - looks like you guys fell for it.

If this was outside provocation...for what purpose and for whom?

If a provocateur was involved I wonder for what and for whom.

Former detective? I guess they loosed too many criminals due to his dodgy work.

I call bullshit on this letter.

Nothing personal, it just looks like a fake, and I cant think of a single fash worldwide who would say 'victory to capitalism' and victory to the police.

Someone might be having you on here mate [and thats being generous].

All fair points. I am simply reposting a letter, photo and email that got sent around the AF list. It is possible that it is a fake, but what would the point be of sending this in to us? And why signed as Goodricke anyway?

It is deffinately not a fake on our behalf, and although this bloke used to be a detective, he still isn't the brightest of sparks and may have lost his marbles a bit. (I mean who posses outside their house with a fucking gun for a photo?!)

I'm abit undecided either way.

This is very strange. Granted it does look very suspect and could be a faker, but whom do you know, has the kind of sense of humer to go that far; or why would an external BNP supporter use his name over another alias? Im wondering that if it was him, he was pehaps very drunk at the time he wrote and sent it. As for the contents..the anti-working class, and pro-capitalism jargon that he mentions isnt much of a suprise (imo) even though it would shock alot of the purists of the party. The more i hear from them, the more i begin to realise that all they are is an extreme racist/xenophobic version of the conservative party anyhow. What is suprising is that he goes on about Barnsley like he owns the place and that its about to become the nationalist capital of UK!? He would get run out of town if any of the resident saw that letter. I swear.

I think someone's messing with the AF, most likely for their own amusement. But then again, I could be crediting the fash with too much intelligence by thinking that this is someone's idea of a joke.

I can believe it's real, more than likely sent after too many pints of London Pride. If a person BNP or otherwise was trying to wind up 'lefties' then they would put rubbish like 'smash the miners' and 'victory to capitalism' on their bullshit.
Also being as they are Fascists surely 'victory to capitalism' falls within their sphere of nonsense.

Def a fake. The BNP oppose the war in Iraq, and want the re opening of the mines.

They also say they're not a racist party.

It has to be agreed, that if this letter did come from him then it would be in a personal capacity, so wouldn't necessarily be sticking to the party line.

The police aren't well known for their intelligence...why would they join the force otherwise?
