Is there any resource on Trotsky? I searched the net, but found things which are irrelevant (like this bio), I just want to know his basic ideas, his idea of permanent revolution etc., in what way he differed from other communists, like Stalin, and such details. Is there any site that's specifically dedicated to this?

A site with all his publications can be found here: The Leon Trotsky Internet Archive (http://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/index.htm).
The Permanent Revolution (http://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/1931/tpr/index.htm) is a theory on the question of revolution from the perspective of a developing country.
The Revolution Betrayed (http://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/1936/revbet/index.htm) is an indeep analysis of the degeneration of the Russian Revolution and what became known as Stalinism.
The Transitional Program (http://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/1938/tp/index.htm) is a nice short read which gives an introduction into what bolshevism (and thusly Marxism) means if you translate it in concrete demands by linking the daily struggle with the need for a revolution.
There are many great articles and books to be found there, including My Life (http://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/1930/mylife/index.htm) which is hardly irrelevant.
Once you're done with historical texts, I suggest you take a look on what Trotskyism means for todays world. Like for example on the website of the Committee for a Workers' International (http://www.socialistworld.net/) or (assuming you're from the US) Socialist Alternative (http://socialistalternative.org) :)

Wikipedia has a brief summary on the man and his ideals.
