Are there any good sources on soviet education? From what I understand it was very good, and I do know Lenin felt strongly about education, but I really don't know any neutral or positive secondhand resources.

I have a book somewhere back at my parent's house about Soviet Education, a case study in the 1970s. Published by Penguin books, simply called 'education in the Soviet Union' and probably long out of print.
