View Full Version : Papal fascism - ...but that's common sense

Please, the ones that know more about this issue, tell me what's going on. This guy (the pope) is going to visit Spain. He plans to create a new saint in the name of a priest who was killed by the Republicans (Leftist side) during the spanish civil war. In other words he's going to make a saint out of a Franco-supporting, fascist, priest.

But I guess the pope is a bigger fascist, compared to what Franco was, so this shouldn't be a suprise to me......

Pius XII said no true Christian can be a fascist or a commie. It's a bit hypocritical. But don't mind what the pope thinks. He's just an old man deluded into thinking he's God's representative to Earth.

Excellent news. The Orthodox Church cannonized Tsar Nicholas II after all. I was afraid the Catholics were starting to waver on the anti-communist front.

Rewarding someone for killing people isn't a very Christian thing to do.

John Paul II makes baby Jesus cry.

I suspect, though I haven't researched the matter properly, that the "saints" of both Catholicism and Orthodoxy contain as sordid a gang of murderers, thieves, rapists and general all-around turds as you will find anywhere in history.

After the revolution, we should organize a group of competent historical scholars to produce a real "Lives of the Saints"...the believers will squirm and squeal but the young will be better informed as to the real nature of religion.

Some saints were genuinely nice people. Some weren't, however.

Sorry you have Orthodoxy and Catholicism confused with Communism. You guys have Christianity beat by light years in the rapists, muderers, and thieves of history worshipped department.

Shall we delve into Ginrikh Yagoda's . . . umm rather sadistic sexual tastes?

Yes like st paul i think. Hes the one who hated women.

St Francis of Iccesse (god knows how you spell that) stinks of bestiality.

st paul was an idiot, i don't see why there's such a big fuss about him, some of the lesser heard of saints were genuinely nice people, such as St Kolbe who was unmarried and childless and offered his life to spare the life of a man with wife and family in Auswitz and kept the prisoners alive in the starvation chamber for months through meditation.

blah, blah, blah, blah....who cares about "the saints"? It's all a load of rubbish, some were okay, some were idiots, big deal.

On a more serious note, I had to laugh watching the news (on this topic) the other day, they said the Pope would "create five new Saints"....is he sticking a pin in a list of names or what? "yeah, it'll be that guy, this guy and her, and ah...just make up two other names, throw in some miracles. Maybe something to do with a goat this time..."

It's also funny to think that their could be a confrontation between Aznar (sp?) and the Pope over the Spanish support of the war. At the very worst, the Pope's going to fall asleep.

I detect no antipathy, so Genrikh Yagoda's sexual history it is.

Now, Yagoda had a very specific fetish. He liked orgies, huge orgies. But not any women could be invited, if that is the word. He liked to have orgies with unwilling women. Unwilling women by the hundreds. He had a special squad of Cheka/GPU/NKVD thugs that would select women from the prison system around Moscow and Tula.

The women, ranging from age 8 to 80 (he wasn't very particular about age or looks), were gang raped, repeatedly. Some were bound, some were whipped and brutalized, all were destroyed. Most were shot after he and his guests had their fill.

Did I mention his guest list included all the greatest in the party heirarchy?

One of the more frequent attendiees, at least until 1928, was a man by the name of Lev Bronstein, who is hardly in need of an introduction. Now Mr. Bronstein had plyed his trade as a two bit porn actor back in New York City before he become a political philosopher cum mass murderer. He was also a real believer in "sexual liberation" and had unshakeable faith in the now debunked psycological theory called psychoanalysis. How many Trotskyites knew that?

Shall I continue?

Um, Solzhenitsyn, you have a, er, special interest in this sort of activity, do you?

I, um, think there are, shall we say, exotic sites on the net that would <cough> be "more to your tastes" than che-lives.

As, um, "interesting" as your personal fantasies "are", I suggest that this message board is not really quite the place to share them.

I'm sure you understand.

It doesn't surprise me. Catholic church protected the Nazis, what else could you expect from those bastards.
