Why was I restricted/ banned?

I never recieved any warning or any discussion about anything, one day I tried to access the site and I could not. A month or so later I was back but restricted to the OI forum.

I would like to know two things; Why I was banned, and why I was then allowed on the site but remained restricted to this forum.

happens all the time. the site shuts down for no apparent reason. you're not the only one.

As for your restriction, i really can't tell. might be a bug.

No, Zombie, this was deliberate. I don't think you were here for the "Great Che-Lives Purges". Malte and his moderators banned all the "Stalinists" from che-lives.

I want to know if this was a general Purge against unwanted Communists or if there were specific reasons for each person.

I could be wrong but I believe you remain restricted because of what feoric has cited above.

You were initially banned in the name of throwing out advocators of staunchly authoritarians, who advocate mass murder and purges. Then these people were allowed re-entry as "opposers" to our ideology.

I don't recall saying anything anti-jewish until I was imprisoned (And this was in reaction to someone else bringing it up). And what is up with all this religious sympathy? Marx was an anti-jew! This situation seems odd because this website is apparently operated by Marxists!
Why would Malte guard something so hostile towards Communism, such as religion?

Marx was never anti-jew, he was one himself. As were Lenin and Trotsky. if you speak out against Judaism, you need to make sure its clear you mean the religion, and not the jews as a race.

The "religious sympathy" is based on the fact that Judeaism is also an ethnicity. You would probably do well to bare that in mind.

If I meant the race I would have said semetic. Most Jews are of semetic racial origins.

Do you believe that semetic Jews are inseperable from Judaism?

There are actually many ethnicities of Jews. Ashkenazi is probably the most widely known but it does not represent the entire spectrum of Jewish ethnicity. There are Sephardic and Ethiopian Jews as well. There are also different religious sects within Judaism.

The semites are not a religiously exclusive group! They include other people in the MIddle east of different religions.

That said, why is it impossible to be against Judaism and not against semites or other ancestral 'races' that Jews are a part of?

Personally, I think it has to do with you being a 'Stalinist'. I often remember you being compared by various people on here (can't remember who) to Mazdak.

I remember back when all the 'Stalinists' were banned. I was against it. Then when the 'Stalinists' were allowed back in, I lobbied for the release of several knowledgable 'Stalinists' and succeeded in several cases. However, yourself (Ymir) and Mazdak were strictly blocked from being released. I do not know you well, so I cannot judge such things.

May I ask, what are the comments that actually caused you to be restricted/banned?

too many proles have anti-semitic ideals which resemble, almost entirely, the arguments that us communists hold against the capitalist ruling class. but when you mention this arguments outside of a racial context to such proles, they will invariably call you a commie bastard.

its just senseless. one would think that if the arguments held against the jewish race on a basis of money and greed have ANY validity,as the racists assert, they would be equally appliacble to ANYONE, regardless of race. for some people good logic is only an excuse to hate and ignore the truth. and that truth is that capitalists are the greediest, most corrupt and evil group of people in existence.

its not as much contempt as it is good "parenting". you have to teach a kid not to touch a stove not by gently asking them, repeatedly, to avoid it, but by stressing as harshly as necessarilly the danger.

my belief is that the proles will only listen if you scream at them. they are only half awake, and as such, need to be woken up. my contempt comes from concern and love of my brothers and sisters.
