Its quite funny really, no need to burn. All I have seen is tired "arguments" that are actually rehashed bits of a failed attempt as an argument against an IDEOLOGY in the opposing IDEOLOGY forum. From what I've seen, smoer, it generally takes overt racism & anti-semitism to get someone banned from che-lives...though a few have also been banned for spamming the board.

The purpose of this particular forum is to "argue" with pro-capitalist views, such as they are.

Once in a while, something interesting happens; much of the time it quickly turns into a "flame thread" (which can be both fun and funny).

Think of Opposing Ideologies as an island of capitalism in an ocean of socialism/communism/anarchism. The kinds of things that the pro-capitalists say now will be very similar to the kinds of things real capitalists will be saying someday, as their last fortresses succumb to proletarian revolution. :cheesy:

I've noticed that cappie post these days (and some commie posts... Be nice.) have been filled with nothing but bile and insults, particularly LL's.
And as for banning the cappies and and deleting OI... I say no. let it stand as a lasting monument to the stupidity of capitalism's legacy.
