Hazard, that's just ignorant. Though the KKK is a major hate group in America, they have little influence in the government of the southern states. No political leaders [lately] in America have been memebrs of the KKK. The KKK, once again, has little influence in the administartion of America.

Hazard, just because the KKK represents a regret and hatred for a loss in the corporate power of southern industries, it does not mean that the Southern industries are influenced by the KKK. They may share equal regrets and hatreds, but the KKK still has no influenetial power over the actions of the southern corporations.

They may share similar values [the corporations and the KKK], but that does not mean that the corporations have a racist influence on the government. They obviously have major influences on the administartion of the states, federal government, etc., but racism (and other KKK bullshit) has nothing to do with corporate greed and profit, so they probably don't make it so influential. The generation of capital is the ultimate goal of the capitalist bourgeoisie, and there is no capital to be attained from racism. Yes, racism may heve led to slavery (which brought profit), but nobody expects the KKK to bring back slavery, not even the KKK itself. The persecution of blacks, jews, and hispanics is in no way connected any of the goals of corporate America.
On the other hand, the glorification of the white man, by the suppression of minorities may have an impact on the power of the white-dominated bourgeoisie.
