While I'm sure most people in this forum are aware of his work and book ( he also has an exhibit in Paris), it is important to realise its importance in rebutting the 'Holocaust denials' that the facists and others keep up. Although the Nazi's destroyed much of the evidence (Question; "Excuse me, where are the Jews that lived here?" Reply: "What Jews, none ever were here!""Moved away" etc.) recently new evidence has now reemerged from the Western Soviet Union as was.

The American general Eiseinhower knew the true nature of the fascists when he ordered that photographs of all the Nazi death machinery and its results be taken and kept as a public record "It's only a matter of time before these bastards will deny any of this actually happened" he explained.
Basically the Death squads were operating all over of the German and Romanian occupied Ukraine and Russia. They forced locals to take part in various ways, and it is their stories, photographs and their locating of the pits that tells this story. And horrific it is. Fr. Desbois was able to open a conduit from that time to now with them by acting as their 'confessor'.

Many digs have been undertaken to prove that these now covered mass graves were no less than that, centers of mass execution. Many spent cartridges have also been recovered. So many in fact that he has coined the term: Holocaust of Bullets. It is chilling to realise that each spent cartridge represents the actual murder of another human being in the most wretched of circumstances.
That one and a half million Soviet Jews were estimated butchered here and their remains still exist, should alone silence any opponent claiming that only a small number of sick and old Jewish people were killed by the Nazi's in the holocaust.

On a personal note I found the accounts and photographs very disturbing. You can google this topic for more information and photographs, if needed. Even worse exists in Paris, if you brave a visit.
