A girl on my politics class said she was going to go and do works experience in Columbia, i started to attack Uribe and his government (i like to make friends by insulting their choices in life and telling them i despise their politics), however i soon realised i don't know much about him to attack other than the way he deals with trade unions and is a puppet for the USA/CIA,

so gimme so facts and opinions people, something good my pride is on the line here if i get argued down next time...

It's not a joke and no, wikipedia is not leftist, which is why it's a good source in this case. This is an article about recent events, which gives facts, figures, and dates, and I don't think there's any reason to believe they'd play around with such things.

Uribe is a fascist he is part of the continuation of the conservative party's coup since the assassination of Socialist President in waiting Gaitan which triggered the La Violencia.
