When the BNP scum come canvassing, if they knock at your door, what should you do? Would it be best to invite them in, take up as much of their time as possible, would it be good to try and grab their propoganda and destroy it, would it be best to just shout and scream and chase them from town?

I've been thinking about this alot, because if they came here I wasn't sure what the best tactical response would be.

To be honest I think the best bet is just not to answer the door. Trying to fight them or rip their leaflets up is probably a sure fire way to get a couple of nazi thugs round at your house the next day.

Well I thought i'd just tell them to fuck off but then I thought it'd be more tacticly correct to hold them off for a long time or to grab their propoganda. But yeh that could wind up with reprecussions for me, i.e. being attacked. And holding them off would be tough, because the only way to do it would be to engage them in a big debate or sort of pretend to be interested for a loooooooooong time so they have no time to talk to anyone else but the thought of talking to the scum for a long period of time sickens me.

Well if you are in shape and have some mates to back you up, then sure, grab their propaganda and tear it up. But if you're living by yourself and aren't great at fighting, it's probably not such a good idea. Remember Griffin and most of their leadership were hardline fascists a few years ago, and chances are if you pissed them off too much they could get a few nazis at your door.

-taking as much of their time means inviting them, means legtimising them, means also they can check out your rooms.
