Does anyone know what is corporatism and corporatistic capitalism? I was looking at the political-compass.
I guess the Social right there is more authoritative and the Social left is less authoritative.
It shows Stalin very social left :lol:and JFK corporatistic capitalism and Social right .It shows Bush corporatism and very social right .

It shows Marx not has Social left has Stalin and not much different of JFK.
This seems to be a different political-compass..

Friedman is in the middle between economic left and economic right?
That's stupid. A better compass would be authoritarian/libertarian, socialist/capitalist.

This graphic is way too complicated.
I understand the difference between laissez-faire, corporate capitalism, socialism, and "socialist capitalism." I guess corporatism is total nationalization with business in charge of the country.
In my opinion laissez faire and corporate capitalism are both bread sisters. I realize Misonians and Rothbardians have this ideology of anarcho-capitalism, but it's pretty stupid to think that the Lockean natural rights argument is perfect. Most people would shit in a river if you tried to "justly" monopolize the resource.

Libertarianism is the ideology of stupid head in the sky Capitalists, Corporatism is the ideology of intelligent and amoral Capitalists. The Libertarian tries to justify his ideology, the Corporatist gets rich and gains power, and is great at sophistry.

How so? That chart is saying the US has of now is corporatism but there is no nationalization at all. What we have now is businesses control the government than government control businesses .The government acts has consumer to businesses.
I guess when they say corporate capitalism when JFK was at that time was lass businesses and government working together and more in a capitalism way .
I think is it clear the US government does what is interest to businesses than the interest to the poor/working class or the economy.
