"NBC television said Thursday it was starting work on a script about the 19-year-old POW, who has become the most human American face of both the heroism and horror of the Iraq war.
Like the rest of America, we shared in the collective thrill of witnessing the heroic and dramatic rescue of Pfc. Jessica Lynch. Her inspiring story is one that provides a message of hope despite great odds," the network said in a statement. "

What the fuck is the point in making such a retard movie, if not to gain more cash from the ongoing invasion, and push the propaganda further down peoples' throats?

I heard, no lie, that the JEssica Lynch story was scriipted BEFORE the war. her story is so obviously bullshit it aint even funny. notice how she wasn't abused in any ways that would PREVENT enlistment? no, she was smacked around and shot, not raped or anything else nasty. and of course, the brave american seals or whatever had her out in a matter of days. BULLSHIT! hear the part as she was getting captured where she kept shooting until she ran out of bullets, as if the iraqi's were nothing but clay pigeons? COME ON! the whole thing is just so fucking idiotic.

yeah, the idea of a movie about jessica lynch is absolutely disgusting. nothing could be more blatently bias nor could anything be as obviously propagandist. the war has become so saturated in the media i could almost puke--it has come to the point at which capitalism becomes pathetic; when people attempt to make profits off of the suffering of others. ridiculous. and to bodacious--i pray and hail to god not for the election of that fool in office, but for the eventual destruction of the ignorance that can be found in comments like your signature. give questioning a shot--maybe your george dubya isn't as great as he seems.

I'm delighted, because of the inevitable porno-spoof version that is to follow!
Think of the possibilities:
"Republican Guard Orgy 4"
"Operation: Iraqi Fuckfest"
"Camel Jockey Gangbang: The Jessica Lynch Story"

Dhul and Zombie, I like your thinking.
I reckon they should get Ron Jeremy to play Saddam, since he bears a striking resemblence, or would if he shaved his mullet.

ROFLMAO, that's a great idea!
Ron Jeremy is definitely going to have to play Saddam. I think Rocco should be his son Uday!
As for Jenna, as much as I love her, that scrawny little thing didn't look much like her. We need a confused 16 year old with a fake ID, a la Traci Lords

there are an endless possible number of films that could come out of this war.
hazard
13th April 2003, 01:35
an endless number of films?
so far, there has only been one film on GW I, and that one was a comedy(3 kings). unless I'm missing something, less happened in this war than the last one. except for jessica lynch(even her name has racial undertones) and we all know that her story, even if true, is nothing more than a propaganda tool to be used for recruitment

Actually that was just a brief resurrection of an old friend, courtesy of a lot of alcohol and some nostalgia. When I found the pic I just couldn't resist, looks like him doesn't it? ;)
Anyway, I want an endless number of monkeys watching an endless number of films...
hazard
13th April 2003, 03:34
thats pretty funny dhul. but what would be the purpose? the idea of a million monkeys on a million type writers will eventually write a classic. but an endless number? that would create an infinate number of classics. I get the premise of the watching films, tho. a never ending series of mindless products of propaganda. or something to that effect.
Dhul Fiqar
13th April 2003, 12:53
Well, if the number is infinite the time it takes them to complete a task is greatly reduced. I'm not waiting around a million years for some monkey to write me a classic ;)
As for the movies, well, that's just to help them unwind at the end of a busy day of typing

Hey hazard, you care to provide a cite for that allegation?
Because if you can't, that may be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard on this board, and that's going pretty far.
Do you think the family, or her, would want it being blabbed on CNN that she was raped and sexually assaulted? I know I wouldn't want that going out if it were my daughter.
But I would bet real cash money that she was raped, and beaten.
As for shooting until running out of bullets..... so what, when the feds come for you, you're just going to drop the gun and surrender?
Dhul Fiqar
13th April 2003, 15:36
I'd say it's a real possibility she was raped, but as with the Jessica Smart case it's not really in good taste to talk about it in the media.
