Students General strike 22nd October in Spain

The Spanish student union has oranized two general strikes in Spain on the 22nd October and 13th November against the attacks in education and against the capitalist system which makes the workes and their family pay its crisis. this can be the beginning for an offensive against the capitalists, spread the fight for the Socialist Revolution

comrade they don't alow me to post it our web page but it's sindicatodeestudiantes.org and elmilitante.org obviously in Spanish, we are the main organizers ,although other groups are joining now to the movement as the anarkist, we hope in comradely way, some teacher unions support also the strike

How are they planning to involve those not involved in education?

A "general" strike can't be restricted to one industry.

It's a student general strike because is a strike in the whole of Spain which is not a easy thing to do because in the certain parts of Spain , there is a very strong nationalist movement which are against the unity of fights because the main aim is the independence, not workers emancipation, this as the reformist is put off for the future. and we always ask for the support of the working class movement and we put forward to transform this strike in a general strike of workers and students against the capitalist system and the government whis is giving away our wealth to the bankers

We are lucky if they manage to organise a rally against top up fees.

The main difference between NUS and Sindicato de estudiante , is the fact the SE is lead by marxist of International Marxist Tendency, which in UK is known as Socialist appeal, they are creating a leftwing of the NUS, I recommend you to have a look at the webpage there is an article about the student movement, salud comrade
