Che did support Stalin, Che enjoyed Stalin's 'New Socialist Man' and constantly made reference to it. He was a Marxist-Leninist. He executed deserters, I imagine liberals would do that, if they knew how to fight a geurrilla war. To let a deserter free is to compromise your entire force. Che did judge with descretion like any Marxist-Leninist.

The point is he would disagree with these 'anrchist-communists', 'democratic socialists' and Trotskysist today, however everyone knows this. Che was an unbelievably intelligent and able Marxist-Leninist, that is the final point.

I always heard that Che was a Stalinist, but from his works that I did read, he did not seem to specify, but certainly was an authoritarian. Weather or not he was, I still respect him greatly for his revolutionary efforts if not for his political views too.
