Im currently trying to study it, so id like to start a little discussion... I would like to know what you think about this writing in a modern perspective, and discuss quotes and the metaphysics, metaphores and philosophy about it.

Ive heard over half of the audiobook available on piratebay, and i must say i am awed of the strategic genious of Sun Tzu, and the generals in ancient China, that helped him. If you havent heard of this book, and consider yourself a revolutionary strategist, you have been in a cave of ignorance most of your life...

Thank you.

If you have any specifics to mention it could be an interesting subject.

But generally speaking I thought it was completely worthless and am completely baffled as to how Japanese businessmen supposedly apply it to their advantage nowadays.

Sorry if this didn't help.

I will say, I read 7 chapters of it yesterday, it is very insightful in terms of combat, it may be a bit old but many things still apply.

I read it many years ago, and remember little except that some was a little bit vague and it depends greatly on the translation and the edition you have since most are based heavily on editorializing. The I-Ching is that way to, though significantly vaguer. They're not books like they're written today. There was some part about eating the same food and sleeping in the same conditions as the soldiers, which was great, considering how most militaries that operate for any ruling classes treat commissioned officers.
