Hey, its been a while since I posted, even though I've hardly posted at all. In my introductory post, I said I came here to learn about the revolutionary left...well, I've tried to learn some things about communism, but I kinda want something down to the point.

From what I've read, a communist country, in a very tight nutshell, would:
1. Have a revolution.
2. Set up a new government with socialism.
3. After some time/event (I dont know) the government would basically go away.
4. The country will be kinda a utopian socialism. Where everyone works for free and of their own free will.

Do I kinda get it?

Thanks.

Yeah, that's the Marxist view of things, more or less.

It depends on the kind of socialism you are talking about, all the anarchists and some of the marxist will say that any kind of government is incompatible with socialism.
Also communist country is some thing that doesn't make sense.

Also communist country is some thing that doesn't make sense. Why? What would you call a country that has experienced a communist revolution and is transitioning towards communism?

Okay, so that which I described in the OP, isnt it almost the same as anarchism?
Forgive my ignorance once again, but from what I've read, anarchist-communists and some other anarchists want basically what the marxists want. Just that the anarchist skip the "middle step" of socialism, between capitalism and communism.

That pretty much sums up the main difference between communists and anarchists. Anarchists want to abolish capitalism and the state and that's it. Communists agree with the need to abolish capitalism and the capitalist state, but want to replace it with a workers state (in which the working class, the vast majority of the population, is in power) because they see the state as a tool of class oppression and since class society won't disappear overnight as capitalism gets abolished, the need for a state still stands (in this case to prevent the bourgeoisie from retaking power).

But capitalists, being disowned, won't stay a class forever, they will dissolve untill they cease to exist as a class. As such, the workers state also ceases to exist.
This is a rather short description, if you want to read it more in detail, I recommend The State and Revolution (http://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1917/staterev/) from Lenin.
