War for Israel? - the sordid truth

I would believe that any sort of de-stabilization of the Gulf Region or disunity amongst Arab nations is good for Israel.

I looked at a few pieces at this link...and I'm sceptical of its reliability.

That one can (and should) be critical of Israeli imperial ambitions is one thing; but there is a "tail wagging the dog" problem at this site.

The impression I get is that these folks believe that Israeli imperialism is "using" and "manipulating" U.S. imperialism...when the reality is clearly the opposite.

Israel is the very junior partner of U.S. imperialism...not the secret driving force "behind" it. At such time that Israel becomes an obstacle to U.S. imperialism, it will be tossed aside like a Noreiga or a Hussein.

One should be clear about who is the real enemy.

What benefit does USA get from occupation of iraq? I thought israel would benefit more because iraq has long been one of their regional enemies.

Israel seems to be a liability, eating up so much of foreign aid budget, increasing arab/muslim hostility towards westerners.

The US government is also heavily Zionist, so i doubt they would allow US interests to prevail over Israeli interests.

Then why exactly is the US giving Israel 3Billion dollars yearly, why is it vetoing everysingle UN resolution directed at Israel for the past 30 years and why exactly is the US so keen on rewriting the Middle East`s map in order to provide Israel more security over the coming decades (i.e. the Palestinian issue...)?
I do believe the main enemy is capitalist America, nevertheless some issues regarding its relations with Israel are questionable, aren`t they? Shouldn`t they?

This is exactly why the Middle East hates the US and why we're going to be dealing with "terrorism" (god, i hate using that word) forever. The sensible thing, would be for the media to present all these facts to the public and let them decide which is more important. Perpetuating hatred, or Peaceful co-habitation. Until the US can divest itself of this slanted Israeli support, there will be turmoil and chaos.
