Yes you are. There is a good reason why a vast majority of Americans measure to the left libertarian when compared to all democrat and republican candidates; simply put, the people are more leftist than their government.
Also, I routinely score between -8 and -10 on both poles, but I have taken this like a hundred times.

Well, that definition probably explains broad policies and ideals of libertarians... the test measured specific responses to issues. You may be generally leftist and permissive, but you might have problems with the more explicit expressions of this. What was the definition you looked at, and what did you agree / disagree with?

I think it's a bit odd though that I managed to score only -5.00 on the lib scale, I oppose most restrictions, not against drugs etc. What does that mean? Why call it Authoritarian/Libertarian?

I don't feel the second one is very accurate. I never thought of myself as being Anarchist.

I can't remember exactly what results I got before but if I recall correctly I've moved towards positive about one block in each (there were times when I was -8 in both, then -6). I'm not surprised that I'm not as left-leaning economically, but I am surprised that it says I'm less socially liberal these days. I don't believe that to be the case.

libertarian want a 100% free-market and small government. They also don't believe in welfare money or government housing for the poor. This is left idea welfare money and government housing .
The libertarian don't like free education or free healthcare they believe some how people should get 10 jobs.
