Marx must be turning over in his grave, now Poland is going free market.
Maybe it failed because the workers were hungry? Again it comes down to food.

huuummmm poland is capitalist since 1991 dude....
in what hole have you been hiding?
it failed becuase URSS colapsed and they quickly runed out of options... as simple as that..
plus the lack of food and primary goods also contributed for the fall of socalism in Poland...

Kelvin it's debatable whether Poland was 'Communist' in the Cold War let alone now. What are you getting at?

Welfare dissapeared. The 100 bucks a week per kid is gone. But then again, so is the almost 100% tax rate.

What is the story behind Poland? Wasn't Poland a pet project for Marx? I am no expert of Marx, but I bet he was turning over in his grave when the Russian communist were there. Then Marx did another turn when it became a free market.
How does a good communist justify the Polish getting rid of fuedal lords at the time of Marx, only to become modern day serfs to the Soviets?

Poland has almost 1 in 4 people out of work. The place is a shit hole. The Poles even elected the old Communist Party back in but there still fuckin around with the free market.
It aint the best example for Capitalism Kelvin.
