View Full Version : Yet another sign.... - of our ignorance...

This is yet another sign that the truely ignorant still exist. I recieved an e-mail from one of my AOL groups where this man was trying to boycot a stamp coming out from the US postal service with a Hindu religous symbol on it. What could possibly be going through this individuals mind, and i do stress that he was ALONE. I'm proud to say he got MANY bad replies on his ignorance and his obvious stupidity. This goes to show that people will choose anything to take the blame for hurting them in some way. There are many ignorant people in the country blindly blameing the religous views of the iraq, iran, and afganistan countries. This is truely blind rage.

If any of you come across this attempt to boycot these stamps, please speak up. I know i'm not alone in thinking that theres no real justice served by boycoting something like a religous stamp.

Make your opinion heard, and please reply with your thoughts. I'm new and this is my first new topic but i hope to be here more often. I'm here to be challenged, so do so at will :)

I have to agree with you fully on this one.

Hi Darkness,
It's fine that you're here to be challenged, the members of the board who have been around will give you plenty of that. Just make sure you don't challenge them or any of their status quos, otherwise you'll be locked up in here like me, soon to be banned. And whatever you do, don't use the word "Jew" in a sentence that doesn't have the word "love" in it, or you'll be banned too. They don't actually read your posts, they just see the word Jew, and if there aren't enough positive words in the sentence, *wham* you're thrown in the slammer of "Opposing Ideologies"

The 'Che' in 'Che-Lives' is dead.

Happy Conforming!

LOL, well i do know my fair share of jew jokes, but none too appropriate for anyone around here. I take jokes pretty lightly when it comes to religous aspects, but i dont take lightly the true ignorance of a religion.

Hahaha, no, I didn't even make a joke about their noses. All I said was that they exercised an amount of influence in the USA greatly disproportionate to their numbers, and *wham*, here I am, one of the oldest members of the forum, about to be removed.

Look out! Wide load of Political Correctness!

your statement should not have included race as a factor, for a capitalist is a capitalist regardless of their colour or creed

there is a rule of thumb on this board that does not tolerate nazi scumbags, and I believe that you may have skated past that line in making the statements that you did

The Israeli Prime Minister is sitting down with Yasser Arafat to try to work out an agreement.

The Prime Minister asks if he might first tell a story. Arafat tells him to go ahead.

"When Moses was in the desert for forty years the Jews got very thirsty and Moses asked the Lord for water and there appeared a beautiful lake. The Jews first drank and then bathed themselves. Moses did the same but when he came out of the water his clothes were gone."

Moses shouted, "Where are my clothes? Who took them??"

The Jews answered, 'The Palestinians took them.'

Arafat quickly objected, "There were no Palestinians at that time!"

The Prime Minister looked at Arafat and said, "Now we can begin to negotiate."

Q. How do you start a Jewish Marathon?

A. Roll a Penny down a Hill.

Q. What does the Jewish Santa Claus say?

A. "Ho! Ho! Ho! Anybody wanna buy some toys?"

That was far from being all that you said, I actually agree with the above statement about disproportionate influence because it's factual. Your posts have gone far beyond that and you constantly use personal attacks against people you see as jew-lovers or in any way hostile to your many prejudices.

Just last week I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt but then I had some free time and started searching old posts. Frankly, I think you need an attitude adjustment and some anti-paranoia medication before you should be allowed to post here again.

It's sad when people with relatively similar ideas can't get along, but that usually stems from extremism (and in this case bigotry) on one side. What you call "being PC" I call "common human decency".

The worst thing is how they generalise Asian/Middle Eastern people. You said it was a Hindi stamp, and no doubt they are getting their attitudes from Iraq etc, which are Islamic.

I'm sure we all, well most of us, feel the same anger at intolerance as you do. It is, unfortunately, unescapable.
