Those fascists, I can't believe this one.
SO apparently french's mustards sales are down, right? Because americans, the stupid consumers they are, think it is french. AS in, made in france. So, in order to save their sorry capitalist asses, they make a ridiculous press release.
It went something like " we are american, we stand for liberty and fun and baseball" etc. The counter point would be that France is opposed to all of these things. I mean, come on. I have no love for Grey Poupon or Mustard in general, but this tops it.
A capitalist society, driven by consumer cattle prods, rejecting anything even remotely reminiscient of a country that, like many other country's, opposes a ridiculous capitalist war. Renaming french fries, boycotting mustard. I mean what is the deal? Being brainwashed capitalist slaves is one thing. Being braindead capitalist stool samples is another.
