and ill planned. It was no 9 day wonder. Now they have to speed up their efforts because this man's popularity is on the line.What is sick is becoming sicker all the time.

7 American soldiers are dead....you commies should be happy. Look at it this way, you know we're gonna lose at least a few dozen more before it's all over (I'm sad to say). So the longer we are in there the more good news we'll all get. Good news for us righties cause we're killing Saddams henchmen, and for you lefties too cause more American soldiers will die.......it's a win win situation for all of us, we will all be happy.

How can any genuine decent human being be happy with the needless death of another. Communist or not.
This is not a war to get rid of Saddam although that might be a by product.
War is between two thieves who go to the village to get the boys in the village to plunder for them. How much oil are the boys lives are worth.
Absolutely none.
Their deaths are completely senseless.

What you have to remember is that, the two theif's got those boys and made them into men. Made them into people willing to fight for whats right, willing (no matter the order) to go into battle and fight the unright. Sadam is a sadistic fool who madly pawns with his OWN peopls lives to fill his own ranting power desires. The soldiers see this, and in the face of every iraqie they see, the face of sadam will come to any respectable human being out there. They know that their lives are on the line, and thats what makes it so admirable by the press, and seen as brainwash by the uneasy. Stomach the reality of war, that's all i can say, and that i believe.

So you are basically saying that the US is there to liberate the people of Iraq and you dont think that you are brain washed. At the cost of this war at $62.6 billion, with a promise of a 270 billion barrel oil yeild.

What US soldiers see in iraq is mostly hostility.

Well yes and no, I havn't really decided what to think of the war at this point, but i think that the soldiers out there are clinging to something to believe in and liberation is key. The people want sadam out, i'm not talking about the hidden agenda's of bush in his war against iraq. I have no support to him, but all the support i can give towards the soldiers of our army.

War is hell and I do think that some soldiers are initial motivated by idealism, but most I suspect just want a good carreer.
In war what protects soldiers far more than anything is fear and mutual trust.
