These are just a few soundbites in my head which I'm going to throw out and hopefully learn from your replys..

I know in communism there is no suppression of workers etc. However what is wrong with just a democratic society, strong trade unions, lots of money being pumped into the welfare state and restrictions on corruption etc?

Why does it have to be all or nothing?

And how does your ideology propose to tackle the immigration problem. As long as immigrants keep coming to places like the US for cheap labour, capitalism will continue to flourish.

mass immigration happens because of the shitty foreign policies of western capitalistic states and private bodies like the world bank.

If it wasnt for the impoverishment of the third world, immigration would be far less. Not that i regard immigration as a problem anyway since as a socialist i believe in the freedom of movement.

lots of money being pumped into the welfare state and restrictions on corruption etc?It doesn't address the underlining problem of people making hoards of wealth from non-labor activities, and in a lot of ways welfarism can create inefficiencies while still leaving the original problems intact (unemployment, inflation, poor working conditions, restriction on production).

The existence of a class system also subverts all concerns for welfare beneath the almighty $$$.

And how does your ideology propose to tackle the immigration problem. As long as immigrants keep coming to places like the US for cheap labour, capitalism will continue to flourish. All communists believe in the free movement of people. I have to question your conclusion, though. Immigration harms capitalist states by drawing money away from tax revenue; unless you propose legalizing everyone?
