I've been banned.
Anyway I'm cool with that. Time for me to move on anyway. Pretty soon I will have a website up and running and I'll be sure the post the link and welcome any and all critiques and compliments. :D
Just wanted to shout out to a few people here.
Roscharch - You're cool. Congrats on the CC member thingy. I find you receptive to rational debate and feel that knowledge moves forward when discussing things with you. I'll probably see you on AIM anyway.
TomK- Aside from the mystical religious stuff and the conservatism , TomK is a pretty delightful person to get to know.
pusher robot- You make awesome posts and I find I learn new stuff from you. I don't know it all.
GeneCosta- Oh man. How long has it been and we've been going at it on and off? Actually you've impressed me over the last few months. I have a higher opinion of you now than before. I see that you've been gradually moving over and now it seems that you are a Mutualist(??). Good for you, keep on expanding that knowledge and perhaps you will become even more market orientated. I was in the same mode of thought not too long ago. The fact that you can change your views shows a strength and not a weakness to me. It shows a bit of rationality and integrity too. Discovering truth, let alone conforming to it, requires our conclusions to be changed and bow to the logic and reason thats put before us.
So what have I taken away from revleft?
Well seeing as I was a socialist once, some ideas that popped up on revleft triggered me to reconsider some of my ideas about socialism that I put away for good before. In terms of libertarian ideas relative to some socialist concepts I think there are some valid ( though not necessarily sound) considerations when reconceptualizing a free society. Namely, some egalitarian issues raised by collectivists as relates to property procurement. I'll address some of these on my website.
Anyway, thats it. Cya guys. Rosch has my contact info so just ask him if anyone wishes chat it up some time.
