when I say our.. I mean leftist with no bourgeoisie party affiliation.. like the Chavez government or any of this Latin American "leftist" parties in power.

Don't get me wrong. I like seen more left leaning governments in latin america. but I think we all agree here that's still something to be skeptical as is not true socialism or anything of that sort...

BUT.. what's up with Russia? is the NEW Russian "empire" out to play games with the U.S. and using Latin America as its pawn.. provoke tension? challenge the U.S.?

Why are all these Latin American leftist reaching out to Russia? I heard Russia is going to modernize Nicaraguas military.. and that they pledge support to Bolivia.. and we already know what they got going on with Venezuela.

Isn't russia just as capitalist as the U.S?

Theyre both cappies yes, but they're also old enemies, and old hate doesnt really die out fast. Myself, I think the russians are just provoking.

Imperialist rogue state without any kind of respect towards basic human rights. They're better than the Soviets but that seriously isn't so difficult.

For Putin, old habits die hard, I guess.

But Russia is really not supportable at all, imo.
