I remember being told on this forum that footballers who earn millions in a year and musicians like Britney Spears who earn similar amoutns through 'performing' and advertisements etc are not class enemies because they do not own the means of production. I see these people as many enemies because they hold power and wealth and keep it to themselves. They have nothing in common with me. Same goes for the politicians like Cheney who get 100,000 GBP a year as their pay.

Also, what class is a student? Like a University one, with a part time job = working class? What about unemployed udner 16 students who can't work yet, say from a working class background?

I, personally, classify three groups, friend, enemy, and neutral.

Friend: any oppressed people
Enemy: the oppressors and their friends
Neutral: Any other people

I would classify Britney Spears and such as a borderline-enemy, she exploits people (roadies, lights people, her babies ;) ). But at the same time she is so ignorant and does it unknowingly, someone who probably couldn't understand basic economics. Cheney is a definite enemy, an Imperialist who pushed forward the oppressions of foreign countries, not only for the general U.S. businesses to profit but for his business, Haliburton to profit as well.

Entertainers are a tool of oppression in a sense, however I feel the big time producers and CEO's that stand behind them are the real enemy, so I would probably frown upon them, but I wouldn't worry too much about them.

So no fear Brit, no Gulags for you today.

That being said theres nothing wrong with getting an education, in fact establishing a Free Education system, and promoting the Political Education of the working masses are high up on our agenda are they not?

However on the front of Children I really believe their families greatly influence how to classify them class wise. This is not to say a child is the enemy of the working class, nor does it discount the possibility of a child born with a "Silver spoon in his mouth", willingly surrendering his wealth and siding with the working class.

However bourgeoise children must be the IMMEDIATE targets of political re-education, while they are still young, before they really begin embarking on their carreers exploiting the working masses.

Thats my view on it.
