because a few soldiers die they get paranoid and destroy all civilian vehicles that come near them. This is very barbaric.

Barbaric maybe, but in a foreign land surrounded by people all too willing to give up their lives for their insane leader, what are they supposed to do. Its very VERY unforchunate that these lives are lost to such a reason as that, but dont blame the soldiers. It's the exact reply he ( sadam ) was asking for. He put fear into their ranks, and have them shooting at their own shadows. Think about it...

"Its very VERY unforchunate that these lives are lost to such a reason as that, but dont blame the soldiers. "

What a stupid comment!
Don't blame soldiers for killing civilians. So who should we blame?
Americans soldiers are a bunch of murderers and cowards and they are responsible for the death of these people.

One other thing is strange: when americans soldiers or civilians die somewhere in the world, that's a tragedy, everyone pay a tribute to them,... But when iraqis are slaughtered, this is "unfortunate".
What a bunch of hypocrites!

When it happens to some poor foreigners far away from your sight it's unfortunate. When it happens to a fellow American it's a horrendous crime and act of barbarism.

Furthermore, has it ever crossed your mind that many people out there are fighting because simply they do not want to be invaded by trigger happy Americans who shower them with bombs everyday. Most Iraqis hate Saddam, but you know who they hate more? the US, which brought them Saddam, brought them UN sanctions and is now bringing them democracy accompanied by a few thousand cruise missiles.

Hell, it doesn't require Sigmund Freud to analyse this scenario,

I impose this ruthless totalitarian murderer as mayor of your town and tell him that he can rule with impunity, which he does and starts pillaging and murdering everyone that he doesn't like the looks of and throw the rest in torture chambers.

After a few years, he thinks hell, you know what? I can get away with anything, so he has the audacity to turn against me, me his all powerful master! I think to myself "hey, what an ungrateful son of a *****!" so what I do is start bombing the shit out of your town and destroy its infrastructure, that will teach him. Not satisfied that the punishment was cruel enough I think to myself once more "you know what would be even better? if I let every bastard in that town suffer so much for putting up with this guy by imposing crippling sanctions. Ten years later, I realise that this did not have the desired effect so what to do? Of course, how could I have missed it. I tell everyone in your town that I am going to come and help you in your plight by removing the very same monster that I have created. Ahh..there is one catch however. In order to do that I will need to bomb the hell out of you even more so than I did last time, but don't worry the bombs are even more accurate now so you don't even have to leave your living room to die.

Satisfied that this plan can't fail, I embark on the long journey to your town with my buddies who are coming to liberate you. On our way we discuss how you poor subhuman people are going to greet us with flowers and hail us as their saviours and God forbid even new gods! aaah..what a nice image. "There is nothing that I enjoy more than helping the oppressed of the world" I think to myself.

However, the minute I approach your town, your people, the very same people I have come to help start throwing stones at me rather than kisses and flowers. Those ungrateful sons of *****es, how could they treat me like this after all I have done for them.

"You know what?" I tell my subordinates, "these people from these parts have always been ungrateful and treacherous bastards, so let them have it, all of them, including the women and the children. Only then will they understand that we have come to liberate them."

I see what your saying and your right in alot of ways. There are many countries out there that hate the US with a passion. I think bush steped over the lines when he started all this, not just the war but all of it. I'm personaly against our goverment, and what its done to all these countries that now loath us.

Second, I dont believe for a second that they are targeting innocents because they are throwing stones, not flowers. Its said by some reporters out there that there is flower throwing and kisses and hugs from the people. But there are also suicide bombers. Within the soldiers, sadam has effectively put fear. This is exactly what he wanted. The soldiers do kill innocents ignorantly i'm sure, but its double fold to the rest of the world.

Also dont get me wrong, my sympathy doesn't lie with only our soldiers. I have felt very sad for the countries we are ramsacking, and destroying. You think they will just click back on the track as soon as we leave? They were never that well off, specially now that we are blowing up their jobs literally.

Anyone else like to add something?

"Its said by some reporters out there that there is flower throwing and kisses and hugs from the people. "

By americans reporters. Because when I watch french tv I never see one iraqi who is happy that the americans invade his country.
So who must we believe?
Certainly not u$ media who are totally in favor of this war.
